Haiku @ Blub Inc: About

Brief Bulletin

Might see if this can be cleaned up again somtime ...

Does this site have some definite goal?

Not really... It will and does house my limited forays into Haiku/BeOS related publishing which as it stands consists almost soley of 'Pseudo-Weekly Haiku' : The seldom updated summary of recent source changes in Haiku. However I have a number of other small ideas which could eventually become more than just grand plans.

Why does the layout/visual appeal of this site suck so badly?

Many reasons encompassing my hatred of (X)HTML, complete lack of creativity and lack of motivation. Additionally it's a little difficult for me to test under IE as I dont really use Windows too much (And plain don't have access to IE6 locally). If you have suggestions then feel free to send them in and I'll give 'em a shot.

So what's with the name 'Blub Inc.' anyway?

A friend from high school, through unknown creative processes, came up with a word he liked to use on our campus chat system. That word was 'Blub' and it's meaning was unknown. For reasons which will most likely remain lost deep in the past a fictional company, 'Blub Inc.', was used for purposes most likely educational; This company seemed as good as any to base new forays into the world of online publishing.

Oi! You've got a typo in your handle 'eNGIMa'!

Yes, yes I know. The short answer to the most obvious follow-up question is that I mistyped my IRC password as I was setting it a good number of years back. Two weeks of vague frustration later I discovered my error. At the time I was looking for a new handle and this word gave me some level of amusement. Although unlikely to genuinely interest anyone the correct pronounciation, if one could be said to exist for a typo, is broken down thusly: en-gim-uh.

Damn your laziness to hell! Where is the content!

Quite a reasonable question and one perenially without adaquate answer. If you bug me via email then you'll have a better chance at getting something posted.

Your ideas intrigue me and I'd like to subscribe to your newsletter.

I'm generally easy to contact but it can be difficult to extract a response. If you're interested in trying your luck, the following may be of some benefit:
